Meet the Founder: A Note From Michelle
Hey there! I’m Michelle Hobbs, founder of Blown—the first blowout bar in Lincoln, Nebraska. After nearly 15 years in the beauty industry, I knew women deserved a space where they could walk in, sip on something bubbly, and walk out feeling unstoppable. No cuts, no color—just damn good hair and an experience that feels like catching up with your best girlfriends.
I started Blown because I saw a gap—Lincoln needed something fun, indulgent, and effortless. A place where women could escape the daily grind, sip on something bubbly, and walk out feeling like the best version of themselves.
From our first downtown Lincoln location to making our home in South Lincoln, our mission has always been the same: give women a space to unwind and feel amazing. Now, with our second location in Fallbrook , we’ve made it even easier to help more women get blown.
When you walk through our doors, my hope is simple—that you leave feeling lighter, more confident, and completely taken care of. Because in a world that moves fast, you deserve a moment that’s just for you.

Blown started with one goal: to make great hair days the norm, not the exception. Since opening our first location in South Lincoln, we’ve styled thousands of blowouts, prepped clients for life’s biggest moments, and built a space that’s as fun as it is fabulous. Now, we’re growing. In Spring 2025, we opened our brand-new Fallbrook location, making it even easier to get the perfect blowout whenever you need it. Because feeling your best shouldn’t be a luxury—it should be the standard.
